However, I know that school is back in and I want to encourage each of you as you walk the halls of your school to share your faith and stand strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. What is your goal in life? Who are you living for? Jesus words here should cause you to question everything in your life. If you are living life for yourself, then re-evaluate your motives and decide what things in your life must be removed so that you can regain the focus of living for Christ! Friday, May 2, 2008. Bible Verse for the Week 5/5. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"- Romans 6:23. Salvation is a free gift, but it doesn't come cheap. It cost Christ His blood, it cost God His Son, and it costs us our sins. Christ demands that we deny self, take up the cross, take His unpopularity, take our place with Him in suffering if need be, and in return we receive the gift of eternal life.
