Evolutionary Biology PhD Student at the University of British Columbia. The Wayne Maddison Lab website. The Center for Anchored Phylogenomics. Headed by Alan and Emily Moriarty Lemmon at Florida State University. My collaborators in the Jason Bond lab. At Auburn University, as well as Christopher Hamilton. At the University of Florida, whom have designed the probe sets I’ve used to obtain my sequence data and generously shared insights. My previous PI’s: Ann Rypstra. The BeBoL workshop New methods for old DNA took place on 2 and 3 June 2016 in Brussels, Belgium. Optimal DNA extraction methods for old biological material and next-generation sequencing library preparation protocols were presented to 66 participants from more than 25 research units. Here is the full program with a link to the pdf files of the presentations. By Kindler C...

Jumping Spiders and Phylogeny. Skip to primary content. PhD, Harvard University (1988). Professor BSc Zoology, University of Toronto (1980). My research arose from a fascination with the diversity of forms and behaviours of jumping spiders, which led to systematics, which led to phylogenetic theory and computer programming. My work continues to be both empirical, on spiders, and theoretical, on the use of phylogeny in evolutionary inference. 8230;more about Wayne. BA, Wilfrid Laurier University (2005).
