Wednesday, December 28, 2016. As an adult I've come to realize how wonderful it is to have my birthday on Christmas Eve. I've never had to go to school or work on my birthday. I get to stay home and spend time with my favorite people in the world. Dawson and I played some battleship. I'm working on teaching him this game, he still tries to move his ships around while playing the game. A Shepherd, Mary and baby Jesus. My handsome boy is growing up. Thursday, December 29, 2016. We have talked about doing this for a long time, but we finally got to visit Deck the Halls. A Christmas Scene of the Old Goodyear headquarters and the blimp flying overhead. The Elves in the Bake Shop. Ava and Carter got their picture with Gingy. Inside the mansion: Different rooms were decorated based on different Children's holiday or winter books. Right up my alley! Here is Ava in front of The Mitten. Wednesday, July 27, 2016. July is such a nice quiet month for us. Although we all thrive on routine, July is a nice change of pace. This year we are keeping it pretty low key because the heat and standing/walking for long periods of time really don't agree with me. Thankfully the kids love to do art projects and science experiments, which can be done in the comfort of my air conditioned home! These shoe box guitars have been such big hits! It was some pretty ugly shades of blue, purple, yellow and green!
