Tuesday, 23 July 2013. Hello, 2nd semester. I am back! Hi again, everyone! I am back again after 6 weeks of stress-free days that somehow stressed me out (after being pressured for 4 months by assignments, not having any might do this to anyone) but here we are again. Last semester was. interesting. I wasn't completely happy with my results but I learned a lot and I am still very keen to learn a lot more. I sucked at lighting (and more! Anyways, let the fun begin! Sunday, 28 July 2013. An afternoon with Rose. One cloudy afternoon, Rose and I decided we want to play a little. So she took me up the Oakey Hill not too far from where she lived and I shot a couple of portraits of her. The light was really nice, it was cloudy but the sun was still pretty bright. Perfect! So 40 something photos and 30 minutes later we called it a day. ISO 100, 1/125 sec., f4.5. ISO 100, 1/125 sec., f4. ISO 100, 1/125 sec., f4. ISO 100, 1/125 sec., f4.5. ISO 100, 1/125 sec., f4.

Sunday, 24 March 2013. A tiny update from a hectic week. Although I still need to post up some examples of group portrait. It was three pictures less than what were required. I was definitely not a happy panda. So today, four days after the class, I had to go back to reshoot and refine some more pictures. Following T-Buzz into the carpark. Testing the appropriate exposure. After all the not-so-uplifting stories of my failures, there's at least one thing done: THE DOCUMENTARY PROPOSAL. Woo hoo! These are ...

Sunday, 28 July 2013. This post was originally posted on my Location Workshop blog on Wednesday (24/07/2013) but I decided it's more suitable here). ISO 200, 1/40secs, f40. The second location we went to was Glebe Park. It was really sunny today and getting the correct lighting was a little tricky. It was too bright in the open area and too dark in the shade. Most of time some of my subject are partially overexposed and underexposed at the same time or backlit didn't matter where went.
