From Queenstown we took the trip northward towards Christchurch and and our flight onwards. Our last few days in New Zealand were filled with. Archie Learning to sit up unaided by Lake Tekapo. And his attempt at standing! Whilst we were in Akaroa. Our first experience of an earthquake, Pete and I kept blaming eachother for shaking the camper van. Caked with expert skills by Esi.

And baby came too. Because Archie wants to see the world too! Sunday, 10 April 2011. We thought we’d give touring the island a break and try some Balinese cooking. After half a day of squeezing limes, chopping chillies and crushing ginger, we ended up with loads of ideas and pretty full tummies too. Here’s some of the highlights. Veggie salad (Sayur Urab), Tuna steaks with fresh chilli topping (Tuna Sambal Matah). Satay on Lemongrass skewers (Sate Lilit) and Balinese Curry (Opur Ayam). Say 'Hi' with skype.

Well it’s almost our last stop on the tour and thought we’d try out one of the great Aussie holiday destinations of Bali. We’ve started off our stay here in the rice fields of Ubud. At the Balam Bali Villas. And yes it really does look like that. We thought we would do the appropriately touristy thing and do lots of sight seeing. Tanah Lot the temple by the sea. It's the Balinese equivalent of the Ganges.

And baby came too. Because Archie wants to see the world too! Sunday, 25 March 2012. Archie and I wanted to make the most of the beautiful weather and go on an adventure. Someone tipped us off there were pre-historic monsters in South London. We dug up some bones. And some Overweight Victorian replicas. After a couple of hours Archie was knackered, and we didn't even get to the Farm or try breaking into the running track! Crystal Palace park was a real adventure. Danger of Death - Prehistoric Dinos, 6/10.

Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She's Like A Puppy, Only Better. There are quite a few similarities between having a baby and a puppy. Macy follows me around everywhere I go. But instead of walking she crawls behind me. And as I type this she is chewing on my couch cushion. Earlier, I caught her chewing on my purse. Just like a puppy. I bet you're thinking,.
