Therefore I would propose a hypothetical situation that could perhaps simply illustrate the rudiments of interpersonal conflict and how this conflict could have been avoided by adeptly choosing the right words to convey. This highly hypothetical, non specific situation is as such:. 1) Girlfriend: Ugh, that girl looks slutty. Boyfriend: Totally. Slutty is not sexy. And is therefor...

ELAINE'S!: Post #1 - Why the need to communicate effectively?
http://littlepenguinn.blogspot.com/2011/01/post-1-why-need-to-communicate.html
Post #1 - Why the need to communicate effectively? Until next time, this is the little penguin, signing off. Said on January 23, 2011 at 2:28 PM. Haha yes, lab reports are the bane of every science students life. Even having read through the marking scheme for the lab reports, I still am not able to score as expected. If I ever scored for writing lab reports, its by copying lab reports! It is high time that we start writing our own lab reports and score As on our own merit! I particularly agree with the ...

The behaviors and beliefs characteristic of a particular social, ethnic, or age group: the youth culture; the drug culture, you name it.

ELAINE'S!: Post #5 Reflection on Oral Presentation
http://littlepenguinn.blogspot.com/2011/04/post-5-reflection-on-oral-presentation.html
Post #5 Reflection on Oral Presentation. Words cannot describe how nervous I was during the oral presentation. But I am glad that it’s all over now! Just a day before the actual presentation, I was practicing on how I was supposed to show my hand gestures, position myself (I hope I didn’t sway unconsciously! And have effective eye contact with the audience. This may sound absurd but I actually placed my teddy bears on my bed and “presented” to them! However, there is still room for improvement. By ha...
