I had an awesome weekend learning from and being inspired by the talented and very sweet Tracy Verdugo in Austin a couple of weeks ago. The techniques she taught us were really fun and freeing. Creating shapes and symbols known to *me*, while she read poetry to inspire new marks, watching the colors flow together… ah, the magic! Then finding images within abstract marks….
