Tuesday, August 20, 2013. What better time to break my blog hiatus than to link up with Ellison Lane's Studio Spotlight. I moved sewing rooms earlier this year from an extra bedroom to what was technically the "office" on our floorplan. Tuesday, January 3, 2012. I love this line. It may be one of my all-time faves. I bought a fat quarter bundle of this last December as a graduation present to myself. I gradually acquired other pieces, but was terrified to cut into them. Do you have that problem? The fabric is just so pretty, it makes me sad to cut into it. Especially when you'll be losing some of the pattern, like you do in this. Anyways, I finally bit the bullet and did a simple patchwork of 6" (finished) squares. A Little Bit Biased.

I was going to be losing one of my scores in December, so I was trying really hard to get it taken care of before then. And it actually worked! Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Has this awesome pattern. As a free download! I'll admit, this isn't the only one I've made. It's super easy and is a great staple to have. I picked up the knit at City Craft. They have an awesome selection of organic knits right now! I adjusted the pattern a little by taking some of the flare out of it and adding a little length, which I always have to do. Since I didn't think to take my sweater off, it has short dolman sleevers. I'll do better next time! A Little Bit Biased.

Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Border. Or No Border. I have the man quilt top finished. I thought. It just looks unfinished to me. Does it need a border? I always put a border (or 3) on quilts. My options in this case would be a scrappy border or white. The binding is a wide black and gray stripe. What do you think? Pardon the horrible picture I took at 6 this morning when I left for work.
