TOJO RISEN: September 2009
http://tojorisen.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 14, 2009. Last Friday I jetted out of work early and hauled ass to Canon City to meet up with fellow Henchmen Chris Gatzke with the primary objective of searching and scrubbing new blocks. We arrived at our pristine camp site around 1:30ish which was situated in a sick meadow at around 11,000 ft. This is by far one of the best camping spots I have seen in the CO, serious! http://tojorisen.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. Last Tuesday afternoon, errrrr late Tuesday afternoon Dave Marquess and I hit the road to Lander, WY to celebrate his recent graduation from CU Boulder. We arrived in Lander around 10pm and mini epiced to find some place to call home for the night. We eventually ended up in what is probably the worst single camp sight in Sinks Canyon and started consuming beers almost immediately after getting out of the car. Diz gettin down with some blues somewhere in Sinks! Friday, July 17, 2009.

http://thumbsupadventures.blogspot.com/2012/09/short-video-of-ruth-gorge-tripfinally.html
Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Short video of the Ruth Gorge trip.finally! This is a long overdue follow up to my original blog post, To the Ruth Gorge and Back. I combed through a couple hours of footage shot by Graham and me to make a 7 minute short of prepping for the trip, the flight in, camp life on the glacier, and our attempts on Mt. Dickey and Mt. Barrill. Alas, I only had Windows Movie Maker to work with, but its my best video yet! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Nomadic Wanderings of a gZ.

Thumbs Up Adventures: Hard to Say...
http://thumbsupadventures.blogspot.com/2011/09/hard-to-say.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. What's not hard to say is that we had sunny skies and t-shirt weather in late September at 13,000 feet on Mt. Evans this past weekend. After a weekend with Team Mammut on Mt. Baker in full white out snow storm conditions, Dougald MacDonald and I met up again for some more cooperative alpine conditions in the Rockies. We printed out MP beta on a few climbs but after a short scout along the base of the Tan Buttresses. From the 4th pitch onward, we climb previously traveled groun...

Saturday, January 17, 2009. Is opening for Immortal Technique on Tuesday the 20th at Cervantes in D-Town. Rock on Dizzle! The last few weeks have been full of crazy good climbing with good friends and there seems to be no end in sight. Psych levels in the SoCo are high right now and there are a number of people willing to put in the work to find and climb new rock! I think this summer is going to be one for the books! Before I even got to pull on Fat Sacks I jacked myself up.classic!

Thumbs Up Adventures: June 2011
http://thumbsupadventures.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 25, 2011. Arun retrieving a stuck rope rappelling off Young and Rackless, a fun 5.9 4-pitch climb, with Leici.go Arun! Its summer in Boulder, which means I may be inclined to climb without a shirt on occasion. I bet you've never seen me climb in shorts though - I'm too much of a trady at heart to not bang up my knees scumming up a climb. I've been enjoying the daily swing of trail runs and sport climbing. 18 miles down, 6 to go in the East Inlet of RMNP. Hiking the meadows below Lumpy.
