Mommy has been doing fine until last night. Ivan really wanted to ride the bus and I finally found out when they were coming to pick him up and drop him off. I told Ivan we would try riding the bus and me dropping him off. But I know I have to give the bus a chance. I can't wait to hear how he likes school and this new phase of his development.

Anders and Steph Weaver's Family Blog. Thursday, December 31, 2009. This morning as the kids were watching their morning show I asked Caylin if we could take off her stinky diaper. She said no and Ivan chimes in and says, "yea I smell a yucky diaper too, CayCay please take it off.". Caylin takes it off and we head downstairs for breakfast. While we are eating Ivan says to me, "I still smell a yucky diaper! I just broke out in laughter, pretty funny kids early in the morning. Wednesday, December 30, 2009.

I didn't know it but Anders planned an awesome birthday weekend for me. So the grandparents got to clean, bandage, and administer drugs to Elin which is no easy feat. I have noticed when I give her the food I make for her - no reactions. If she gets jarred babyfood with asorbic acid in it (even the organic) she breaks out in these "excema" looking patches.
