A cloudberry among kiwis. Captures of my exchange studies in christchurch. Green grass vs snowy mountains, shorts vs winter jackets, colder inside than outside temperatures … this is winter in christchurch. Kiwis seem to complain about the freezing weather, but i just wait for winter to arrive. some mornings the grass is covered with frost. And the temperature drops below zero, but a few hours later (like today) it can be up to 16 degrees. The christchurch winter is like 4 seasons in 1. Hanbq on anzac day.

A cloudberry among kiwis. Captures of my exchange studies in christchurch. Feeling content and relieved. I handed in my honours degree research. Papers and now it’s 1,5 weeks winter holiday. So far: sleeping in, paperwork, got (intensionally? Lost in the city, had coffee with friend, yoga with some more friends, skypeing …. I woke up a while ago to these fridge decorations. By my cute ilam flatmates! It was 5:30 am. I had a cold. But i just couldn’t stop smiling. I hope to meet some new inspirational.

By one of the rivers running through campus. This weekend most of the people i care about here left. either kiwis going overseas, or international students returning home. i was so exhausted. After the goodbyes that i towards the end avoided going outside, to bump into any more friends. The student accommodation is like a ghost town.
