Thursday, December 11, 2008. He cried :) Poor little guy. Even after the bath though his hair is still a little wavey and has blond streaks in it. He is still moving around a lot which is great! And there is a possibility that he will try his first bottle tomorrow. Again thanks for your prayer! SO thankful that things are going well for the LITTLE man! I am so amazed at these pictures. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Day 2 - Update. This is Alyssa typing again). Early this afternoon the doctors decided that Andersen needed to be transfered to Peoria. His oxygen intake was up to 51% and they had detected a heart murmer. So around 12:00 2 medics arrived from St. Francis to transfer Andersen. It took them 20-30 mintues to get all of his tubes and wires switched over to their machines. Then they placed him in the incubator and off they went! Thanks friends, Alyssa. In the oxygen tent. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. God has known every second of his life from his first breath to his last. God knows how many days till my sweet boy arrives. His timing is maticulous and perfect. No amount of appointments, medicine, and tests will change that. There is such peace in knowing that God is holding Andersen in His hands and will arrive in His timing! A blog - how cool! Saturday, December 13, 2008. Day 6 and Photos. Today I got to finally visit my little baby brother Andersen. He is so adorable! Now for more details. :). Another good day for the little guy. When we arrived at the hospital Andersen had had a gret night. The nurse practitioner had been in and said that his jaundice levels were down and that he could discontinue the phototherapy. My Journey to China. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. A Visit to the Chinese Consulate. Today was interesting. I woke up excited and enthusiastic! I was headed to Chicago to file for my Chinese Visa. My mom, Milly, and Alyssa (my friend) all came with me. Since the Consulate is open from 9-12 and 1-2:30 we left around 8:30 this morning anticipating a smooth, easy going day hoping to arrive around 11:).
