Tuesday, 26 August 2008. Special Dosas- - Kobbari Attu/Coconut Dosa. Fresh Grated Cocunut-1 cup. Soak the rice for 2 hours and wash it,drain the water. Grind all the above 7 ingredients to a smooth paste(like idli batter). Heat the dosa pan and spread oil on it. Take one tablespoon of batter and spread it in a circular shape. Fry the dosa until it turns golden brown at the bottom and turn to the other side. Wait for a minute and remove it. This would be an added dish for those who like dishes with coconut.

Soak the moong dal and chana dal in water for 5-10 mins before you start the preparation. Sometimes water to be added depends on the rice used .so varies from 21/2 to 3. Take a thick bottom pan and heat the oil in it,. Now add 21/2 cups of water and let it boil so that the dals added are cooked. Put a lid on the pan and leave as it for few minutes.

Good smell,but dont fry them for long time. 2Pour some water in the same pan and half cook them. 3Then drain the excess water. 4Now take a pressure cooker and put talimpu(tadka). 5Then add pieces of brinjal and small ginger pieces which is the main ingredient this dish,fry for sometime. 6Then add the half cooked junugulu nd pour some water to cook the whole. 7Put the cooker lid and the whistle and cook until 3 whistle sounds.

Monday, 29 September 2008. Kandi Pappu Kattu/Recipe with ToorDal. Keep the dal in pressurecooker and cook it. Grind the coooked dal,4 red chilli,pieces of 1 onion,5 garlic cloves to smooth paste(add water if required). Take a vessel and put 3 spoons of oil in itand let it heat. Add the musturd seeds,jeera,pieces of 2 red chilli,curry leaes and let musturd seeds splutter. Add onions,pieces(2 inch size) of drumsticks and garlic cloves and let them fry for sometime. Now the Kattu is ready.
