We want to make sure no child or parent goes through the same thing that we did. We are building healthcare solutions for disabled children to ensure that no child anywhere in the world has to wait more than a week for their medical device. And more than this, we want our services to be driven by empathy: designed around the child and their family, rather than squeezing them into a pre-existing system. Big words and ideas, for sure, but why do we think that we can do this where so many others have failed?

When we finally met the excellent Mr Patterson. At the Royal London Hospital. The consultant referred us to Cox Ortho. At Cox Ortho Diamo had to be stripped for the mould to go on his skin. He was covered in Plaster of Paris to get a mould, this was done first with him lying on his front. He would need to be measured again in 6-9 months anyway. However it could take up to three months from measurement to delivery, meaning he had often outgrown it before he got it!
