http://melinasanchez.blogspot.com/2012/04/moments-with-grandma-and-grandpa.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. Moments with Grandma and Grandpa. Emmett took his first (of many) trip to G'ma and G'pa's house! Mom and Dad were so excited when Andrea pulled up with Emmett, who had turned 2 weeks that day! Dad is bringing Emmett 'over the threshhold' into their home. Mom getting her grandson out of the car seat. Time to just admire the cutie pie! Mom and Dad just can't get enough of him! Grandpa and grandson, enjoying each others company by the warm fire. I find this so precious! Oh so much fun!

Monday, June 20, 2011. Moments in Salt #2. Anyway, here are a few pics from what is called "Cathedral of Salt" in Zipaquira. They have the stations of Christ under the ground in the mine. The interpretation into English was kind of comical. Here they have the biggest underground cross in the world. A part of The Creation of Adam done in salt. A wishing well. I found a coin on the ground in the mine, so I thought I might as well use it in the wishing well. We'll see what happens :). Monday, June 20, 2011.

Sunday, March 25, 2012. Moments with the Boys. I spent yesterday hanging out with my dad, and brother, Nick. What a fun day we had! After having our little snow storm, the next days were beautiful! Buddy was with us too. Dad does not go anywhere without him :). Nick setting up his video camera to capture the beautiful day! Dad buys the yearly pass to the state parks. It's a good thing, cause he goes all the time! Dad and his Buddy. Our bikes, out and ready to use. Taking a look at the trail map first.

Moments with Melina: November 2010
http://melinasanchez.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. My Papa, Marvin Ames, completed his journey in this life on October 7th, 2010. It was very special for my immediate family and me to be with him as his heart took it's last beat. After he died we were trying to find a little poem to add to the memorial program. As we where searching I felt an ache in my heart, and knew that I had to write it for myself. So I will share what I wrote. A Husband, Dad, and Papa. Forever in our heart. Gone on to Eternity. Through all of the years.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Moments at Mc Donald's? While we were in Florida on vacation, we came across a very interesting Mc D's just down the road from our place. The first thing we saw at this restaurant was the bathroom. Thankfully we had the bathroom to ourselves, so I felt free to take pictures :) I had never been in such a pretty Mc Donald's bathroom in my life! Then there was the food options! We had no idea what was going on when we saw the options of food! Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Monday, April 25, 2011. Moments in the Car.Again! When we arrived to Anapoima again it was 6pm. Tia Lucia called the road number again, and found out that the road was open now, so they decided that we would just go the rest of the way home. Tia Lucia was making jokes with us that we could have been hanging out in the pool in Anapoima that whole time, but instead we had been in the car for 6 hours! We were glad to be home safe and sound! Monday, April 25, 2011. Moments in Peña Lisa. Everything about this...

Moments with Melina: April 2009

Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Moments from the Past. A couple weeks ago we decided to visit the first home that we lived in, in Aloha Oregon. I now just live down the road from here, so I noticed that it was empty and up for sale. I thought it would be fun to get the whole family together and check it out. Sadly Dad did not come, but the rest of the fam did. Nick used to always like to climb the walls. We have a picture of him as a little boy doing this same thing in this same place :). Aloha, Or. 97007.

Moments with Melina: Moments with Karen
http://melinasanchez.blogspot.com/2012/04/moments-with-karen.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. It was fun to have Karen home for spring break. We had fun in the snow that I posted about, and then the sun came out! We decided to go on a bike ride on some nearby trails in Beaverton called Fanno Creek Trail. We printed out a map of the trail, and Sue drove us to the trail head, and off we went! On the car ride over. A big, tall, branchless tree we biked by. Stopping to take off our jackets, and stuff them in the bag! We kept our eye out for wild life, but did not see much.

Moments with Melina: May 2011

Saturday, May 28, 2011. I can't believe that I forgot to post about this town! While we were in Villa de Leyva we took a little trip to a town called Raquira. It was about an hours drive from where we were staying. After spending the day in Villa de Leyva, where the pueblo is very colonial, it was fun to see Riquira, a town of many colors, and murals. Almost every store sold hammocks. I was quite close to buying one! Just an issue of getting it home :). Even the church has some added color to it! On Wedn...
