I decided to write a little story to help me work through my hatred of cleaning the tub. Here is my version of the popular book "If You Give a Mouse A Cookie". Just the Five of Us. Monday, November 24, 2008. Shh Don't Tell the Kids! Usually for Thanksgiving, my brother and his family come up and we enjoy all of the traditional Thanksgiving fare. This year we are headed here . . . We know we are crazy! 160;We had a free pass to the front of the line. Unfortunately, my mom came down with pneumonia and even though she is feeling better, she won't be up to the trip. We are so sad that they won't be joining us! Now don't tell the kids! Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Addison started preschool yesterday! Addie has been talking about going to preschool since May of this past year at least. I mean, every day she asked if it was time for preschool yet. So Brandon and I dropped her off yesterday and she seems distracted and not really aware of the fact that the long awaited day has finally arrived. Kinda like No big deal, mom. I took her to McDonald's playland for lunch and the girl narrated her every move to me from the play area. Figures.

This morning he took four toward his daddy (whose back was toward him so he missed it) and this afternoon he rocked 15 steps toward Elmo on the tv. Figures, doesn't it? He was so cute.
