Sunday, December 16, 2007. I am so thankful this week! My friend came home for Christmas. He is in the Army and fighting in Afghanistan. He didn't tell his Mom and surprised. Her late Wednesday night. I am so thankful that he and many other brave men and women are fighting for us and protecting us. Without them this Christmas wouldn't be fun or happy. So thanks! I hope they all get to come home soon. It was the annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party this weekend. We had so much fun! Sunday, December 9, 2007.

Saturday, September 6, 2008. We went camping over Labor Day and well, our transmission went out on the truck so here are some pictures of our stranded-ness. It all ended well, other than the $3000 for the new tranny on a truck we just paid off last month and whose warranty was up a short 9 months ago. :( :( :(. Looks like Ashley made the best of things!
