Monday, October 6, 2014. We toured a tug boat in Two Harbors, MN with the kids. Really they did like it, even though they look like grumps in the picture. :) They love being at Lake Superior, and take great delight in being on the shore and throwing as many rocks in as they can. :). Breakfast at the cabin, down by the lake. Andre and I biked up a mountain (Carlton Peak) in Tofte, MN. I think this is the only picture we got of the two of us on our anniversary trip! Cascade State Park. Stunning falls.

Monday, May 19, 2014. We took a short trip up to the cabin a few weeks ago with my parents. Had cool weather, but most of the snow was gone. The kids spent most of their time outside. We enjoyed reading a little, and just being really. A little bit of wood gathering for Andre, and little bit of chasing Grant for me. Walks to the little camp park down the road. There was ice on the lake, but Andre and the kids still managed to get the boat out and break up the ice chunks. Ethan was delighted.

Thursday, March 6, 2014. Sorry that none of these photos are in order.4:15am and my brain just can't get it together! But, enjoy anyway. The top one is Sierra's 6th birthday cake from a few weeks ago, for her "friend party". Andre once again the master decorator! Too cold to go out, so we brought the snow in.
