Thursday, January 16, 2014. Into the New Year. Two weeks into the new year all ready. I've been sidelined from printing by the Muse. I'm working on my trunk novel. But when I get back to printerly things, I want to tackle monoprints again. I've looked into Akua inks lately and I think I can do some viscosity prints with them. My favorite! Last time I looked at Akua I wasn't impressed, but I am now. I got some inks for xmas and I'll pick up a few more supplies and see what I can do. 8-]. Into the New Year.

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Knight's Tale Pan Pastels. Pan Pastel over woodcut Canterbury Tails The Knight's Tale. I like the composition but I've never been happy with the print, burnt sienna w/ black tapped in. So I added pastel. I like it as a first try. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Getting more detailed. The detail I couldn't get into the etching. Also I'm really liking the color. Paleo-Unicorn is a failed print the hand was all smeary. But adding color makes the whole ting dynamic. Color doesn't come across bright enough, nor does the gold and silver shimmer, but it's rather nice. Tina told me to stop, it was done. ;-].
