All Things Andrea: Farmette Farewell
http://allthingsandrea.blogspot.com/2014/05/farmette-farewell.html
Thursday, May 22, 2014. My dear friends Elma and Leo are moving to a retirement cottage next week, so this was my last opportunity to photograph some of my quilts on their property. I love their out buildings. I've taken pictures of their property in the past as evidenced here. For more photos of the quilt photo shoot! Labels: Quilts and Quilting. Friday, March 20, 2015. What is Wrong with This Picture? Having to enjoy a free Rita's Italian Ice from inside your car because it is SNOWING on the First Day of Spring. Is just plain WRONG. All Things Andrea: Oasis, the Oasis!!
http://allthingsandrea.blogspot.com/2015/04/oasis-is-oasis.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Oasis, the Oasis! I'm finally made it to the Oasis store. Today - what an oasis. For a weary traveler navigating the bumpy road back to health via food! I met Joyce, their very knowledgeable clerk who is on a similar health journey. She was a wealth of information and very, very encouraging. It was so nice to meet a kindred spirit and not feel like I'm from another planet for a change! I bought some ground beef and ground pork, some osso buco (hadn't even heard of that before!

Shameful, especially since I claim to be a Christian. Shame on me. PS - These mittens. Were perfect for this afternoon's snow shoveling - my hands were nice and toasty, even in 15-degree weather! All Things Andrea: Unbroken and Me
http://allthingsandrea.blogspot.com/2015/08/unbroken-and-me.html
Thursday, August 6, 2015. I finished reading this book several weeks ago and simply can't get it out of my mind. By far one of the most impacting books I've ever read. I keep asking myself - what gave Louie Zamperini and all those other POW's the mental tenacity to want to survive, first the agonizing 47 days of drifting at sea, then suffering two years of disease, exposure, starvation, and near-daily beatings from guards? And, how in the world did their physical bodies survive such assaults? Louie's "co...

All Things Andrea: Garden Sentinel
http://allthingsandrea.blogspot.com/2015/05/garden-sentinel.html
Saturday, May 2, 2015. This is what greets me every time I go out to work in my gardens! I continually remind Max that he shouldn't expect free organic garden produce from me if he's not going to earn his keep by keeping the rabbits at bay, but he is unfazed by my reprimands. As I told his dad, I've concluded that he's a product of this generation and thinks that everything exists to serve his needs - ha! This is what makes his day! Labels: All Around the Garden. All Things Andrea: Pizza and Champagne!
http://allthingsandrea.blogspot.com/2012/06/pizza-and-champagne.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. I had a wonderful time last evening celebrating my 5-year cancer milestone with family and friends over pizza and champagne. The weather was lovely, and it was a perfect way to celebrate health, honor dear ones who had walked with me, and to feature the in-season. God so wondrously designed our bodies to be nourished by and enjoy. Everyone pitched in and helped. As part of the decor, in addition to incorporating it into the menu. White Bean with Garlic Scapes. 1-1/2 t. sea salt.
