Monday, March 31, 2014. Sometimes I eat ice cream for dinner. And I think that's an okay thing to do. Let me tell you why. This word that floats in and out of our mouths all the time. We all know what it means. And yet it is this weird thing to me. It is supposed to mean "a short period of time that will end soon so power on sista" but really life is just one short time that runs into the next short time that runs in to the next short time and so on and so on. Who walks away from that feeling lifted up?

Yet I think I will sit here for a bit, with no sun, just darkness. I will draw as near as I can to Jesus in His suffering, longing to know Him more, longing to love Him more, longing to be filled more deeply by my Savior who has mostly amazingly redeemed my soul. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. My mom came to visit for a week in July. As you can see, Norah was very happy about this. Morning painting on the deck. Cousins swimming at Grandpa Bequette's pool. Norah rarely falls asleep anywhere but a bed, but she was very cozy with cousin Kelly Jo. Norah talked Grandma Lolo into a manicure. She painted Lolo's finger nails silver and blue. Three of them actually came home on Christmas Eve! You all will never know how much your prayers are appreciated still to this day. My two favorites were: district chophouse which is where we went for our anniversary dinner and then district of pi pizzeria.
