We are a happy family. Thursday, January 23, 2014. Seems like a great day for a swim in an outdoor pool. And that is exactly what we did! About 40 minutes from our house is the Crystal Hot Springs. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Snow days, Snow Days! Sunday night four or so inches of snow landed, giving us three (so far) snow days! Unfortunately, Lily was as sick as can be Monday and Tuesday, so she was not able to enjoy the time off. She is feeling better today though. Saturday, June 20, 2015. In our family, spring means two things: Rain and Soccer! This year did not disappoint with weeks of rain that derailed the first 4 weeks of soccer practice. I don't think the fields have dried up yet. Lily moved up to U8 and continued to bring her trademark aggression and drive to the field. Watch out anyone that stands between her and the ball! Sunday, March 15, 2015. This morning I was making pancakes while Kate cut up strawberries and Lily read a book to Elise and Rachel, It was such a beautiful moment and I just wanted to freeze time and enjoy it. I love having four children; in the past 5 months I have watched Kate and Lily grow so much as they take on more responsibility around the house and with Rachel. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. St Louis June 2015. For Edward Jones's summer meeting we were able to go to St. Louis this year! We had a great time taking the kids to a Cardinals game. And to the Zoo. This, in case you are wondering, is a polar bear that has been rolling around in the dirt. Kate was so excited to see him. One of my favorite animals to see at Zoos is the gorilla. I am amazed at their size. St. Louis had quite a few male and female gorillas, it was very cool. We visited an old Fort on the island.
