Thinking Out Loud: November 2009
http://jkbergeson.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Our thoughts on many things from just us to justice! Monday, November 2, 2009. My family and I are blessed to work for the CCO, which offers some pretty incredible Health Care. Having worked for an insurance several years ago, I know something that a lot of people don't: while it is true that to some degree an insurance company determines the service you receive, it is actually your employer (unless you buy insurance directly) that determines your benefits! But imagine other scenarios that many face:.

Staying awake about an hour and 15 between naps. Naps are not very long at this point. No real schedule. Still sleeping about 3-4 hours at a time at night. Naps get longer; anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Always has a smile on his face. :). Very content when awake. At his four month check up he weighs 13.5 pounds.

Thursday, August 23, 2012. Life Lessons from a 3 Year Old. I haven't posted much about William lately, so I wanted to include a little conversation we had today. He has been saying some funny things lately and seems so grown up. Where did my little baby go? W - What's wrong Mommy? M - Mommy's just a little tired because Logan is getting teeth and not sleeping well. W - Oh, well just calm down and don't worry about it. Months 5 and 6. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Newtons: 9 Months
http://sarahandricky.blogspot.com/2012/11/9-months.html
Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Our little man is 9 months which means in 3 short months he will be ONE YEAR! How did that happen? He is a constant ray of sunshine in our lives. I love that he always has a smile for me, he thinks his brother is the most hilarious person around, he is so easy going (I came into the living room one day to William pinning him down on the ground under his Captain America shield and Logan just looking at his brother smiling), and is just an all around good little baby. Rambling...

Friday, November 18, 2011. We had our first real snowfall last night and woke up to a beautiful blanket of white this morning. The snow gets old around March but I love having it this time of year! William was ready to go play in the snow. He loved crunching around out there and I was able to get some fun pics of our first snowfall of the season. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Sophia 7 1/2 months. Sophia is now 7 1/2 months! Sophie the day after her hospital release. She ended up back in ER because she was horribly sick, but not too sick to enjoy the new toy attached to her arm. She didn't mind the IV at all, but loved biting, sucking, and analyzing the yellow bee wrap. And leaning forward to suck and bit on my tray. This is the basket where we keep her toys. I'd love to say she did this on her own, but no, I posed her. Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Jun 17, 2011. He is a wonderful part of our family. He brings so much laughter into our home and he loves everyone to pieces! I asked him what he wanted his cake to be this year and he said he wanted a "Blue Jet" cake. I did my best to fulfill his wishes! Andrew and I put the cake together and as we were shaping it Andrew was complaining that it wasn't proportional and I believe his exact words were, "This plane will never be able to fly! Look at the wings compared to the body! He loves being in the gara...
PLAYING HOUSE
Sunday, May 17, 2015. Preschool has been such a good thing for our social little girl. Penny has thrived! I never planned to start her in preschool so early, but this small, once a week preschool in the teacher's home was the prefect fit. It fills the gaps of my abilities, like having music and craft time. Her teacher, Miss Natalie, would always comment on how intently Penny would work on the craft that particular day. Her little art projects have covered our fridge all year long. Monday, April 13, 2015.

31: gang aft agley. View my complete profile. Monday, January 18, 2010. 31: gang aft agley. Maybe it should have come as no surprise when the technology, that has for so long been a central pillar of our relationship, eventually became the barrier that kept us apart. A temporary glitch, so easily overcome, served as a reminder that human fallibility becomes magnified once a computer is added to the equation. Looking back we now realize that our patience had in fact been a lapse of judgement on our parts&...

Thursday, August 13. A whole bunch of things. The first weekend of August we headed back to the farm for a quick trip for a family reunion and to stock up on some sweet corn. The kids helped pick some for lunch, but we later got enough to use for our sweet corn and BLT party and to freeze for the winter. Ean says, "Grandpa Doug grows the best corn on the knob! This weekend we enjoyed a family dinner out at Jethro's, then Andrew and Ean went to an Iowa Cubs game and McKinley and I went to the mall. The ch...
