July 8, 2010. Newlyweds for 2234 days! Saturday, February 13, 2010. How we got engaged. When we got to Caras Park, we propped up on the hill to watch the sunset. We brought the guitar and ukulele and sang I’m Yours and Better Together. I found out later that she pulled out a recorder and was recording the whole thing! Meaning, should I stand up? I kind of ignored that and simply said, Marry me. Her hands went up to her face and she said, Yes, yes! A thousand times yes! 5:50pm, we became engaged.

Rv trip started April 26th 2015. 1ST STOP (B) Lake Lanier, Buford GA. 185 miles from home. Well 1st stop was closed when we got there (only opens Thursday to Sunday until May 1st) so as we were early enough we thought we would make for the 2nd stop. 335 miles from home (see X on map) disaster struck (or we may have been very very lucky).
