The 11 year old Scout patrol took a hike last Saturday, but it was mostly a family affair with James and Stuart; Andrew, Austyn, and Hudson; non-member (of the family) Tristin Clark; me and Buddy. Hudson is quite the happy wanderer. Here he is as the leader of the pack. Tristin, Hudson, and Andrew. This beaver dam was the highlight of the hike. Tristin, Austyn, and James. This one is Chess. There is also a rubix cube next to it. These are the boxing guys. I used to play this game with my friend. I am really good too, so watch out, because I can put up a good battle. Keeping UP with us. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Ben the tree lover. Ben and I took a walk on the North Country Trail along the Dead River. The trail is marked by blue blazes. On our way back from our picnic, Ben sees the familiar blue marks and says,"I love that tree." He proceeded to hug and kiss each of the marked trees for the last part of the hike.
