We had lots of other visitors that I didn't take pictures of including Steve's parents, my parents, my Grandma Shawna and Karch, Aunt Angela, Aunt Kim, Aunt Amy and Uncle Cody, and Uncle Josh. We went to my grandma's house for a little early birthday celebration for Kim and I and to hear Kim's big news- that her and Devin are adopting another little girl from Ecuador! Thursday, May 28, 2015. We kept it low key this year for Mother's Day because I had to work all day. I kept telling Steve not to do anything for me for 2 reasons: 1- I wouldn't be home most of the day and 2- I was leaving to California on a girl's trip the next weekend and he was watching the kids while I was going to be gone.so that was a good enough gift. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Carolyn Anderson did Emma's newborn pictures, and as always, she did a wonderful job! It took 45 minutes before Emma finally fell asleep so Carolyn could take her pictures and she didn't stay asleep for very long. Monday, February 23, 2015. We decided to do a beach-themed pool party. I made her a "flip-flop" cake and the girls had a ball swimming. I think one of Sadie's favorite parts was delivering the invitations. She would come running back to the car, leaving Brooklyn in the dust. I had to keep reminding her to wait for her sister. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. The entire Manwaring family made it home this year! Including Aunt Betty from Washington, Grandma Joyce, and Grandpa George and Shirley. We had it at our church this year which made for easy travel! Some played flag football before dinner, lots of games, made a craft thanks to Katie, basketball, visiting, looking through ads for late night and early shopping. I have picture of Grandpa George with Spencer, but it's not on the computers so I will need to scan it and put it in later.

Saturday, January 14, 2012. I am a true believer in positive thinking. Constant negativity is exhausting and pointless. One of my favorite quotes is, "Gratitude turns what you have into enough". I love finding joy in the little things, there is always something to be joyful about. This year Draven. Learned to ride his bike without training wheels and became a kamikaze mountain bike rider. he even went down old main hill at USU. It was so fun to see the joy and pride Draven. How could I not feel blessed!

Thursday, February 3, 2011. Girl's Trip in NYC. This last December we took a girl's trip to NYC. Only half of us made it since three of the girls decided to be all crazy and either be pregnant or have a baby. We missed the other girls but those of us that made it had a blast! We stayed at the Westin. In Times Square. Which meant we were able to go walk around every night and enjoy delicious cheesecake at my favorite cheesecake spot, the Majestic Deli, which Kurt and I discovered quite a few years ago.
