The Trials and Travails of My Forebears. Welcome to Andrew Daft's family history blog! Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Tombstone Tuesday - Ferdel "Fred" Moore. My great-great-grandfather Ferdel S. "Fred" Moore was born 05 Aug 1865 in Omro, Wisconsin, to Sylvanus and Mary Jane (Chase) Moore. Fred had many half-siblings, as both of his parents were married prior to marrying each other, but Fred only had one full sibling, a brother who I believe died young. Fred's third wife was Edith Anora (Gauslin) Moore.

John Timothy O'Connor was my great-great-grandfather. He was born 09 Mar 1863 in Maysville, Kentucky and died 30 Jul 1924 in Racine, Wisconsin. Orville Adrison Harvey Wood Gauslin (1906-before 1910). Arvella C. (Gauslin) Guse (1907-1970). Herbert Eugene "Herbie" Gauslin (1913-after 1940).
