Howto: debranding my Orange HTC Desire - camtarn.org // slow transmissions

Camtarn.org / slow transmissions. Howto: debranding my Orange HTC Desire. Jun 5th, 2010 at 4:49 PM. I just bought an HTC Desire from Orange, and while it's an awesome phone, the random Orange branding that came with it was pretty irritating - naff-looking browser icon, non-removable demos for crappy games, an 'Orange Market' alongside the Android Market, no GTalk, etc. I hadn't planned to muck around with alternate ROMs or anything, but I had to get rid of the branding. Debranding to the rescue! Creating...

If they're making a regular profit from it, and they have to relicense each month, then could you change the license to be one whereby you get 5% of the sales, and see if they still relicense? If it's in their interests then they will. December 22nd, 2012 06:14 pm (UTC). Or add a comment. Lists of clicky things.

The Most Impressive Dessert I've Ever Made - Synchronicity swirls and other foolishness. My rpg writing site. May 21st, 2015. 11:31 pm - The Most Impressive Dessert I've Ever Made. I recently made a truly awesome dessert, a a Chocolate-Espresso Dacquoise. Here's a picture of mine:. Not quite as attractive as this picture from America's Test Kitchens. But dear gods it was delicious. I'm also going to experiment with using the merengue as the basis for a gluten free trifle. May 22nd, 2015 08:05 am (UTC).

Looking for a less evil Kindle alternative - Cobrabay
http://cobrabay.livejournal.com/55719.html
Tea please, milk, no sugar. Looking for a less evil Kindle alternative. 2nd Nov, 2012 at 9:19 PM. I really like my Kindle, it is robust, simple, a good basic dedicated e-reader, but I'm getting fed up of feeling like I'm dealing with a sleazy black-marketeer rather than a responsible retailer every time I buy an ebook from Amazon. What with the proprietary formats, tax avoidance. Charging 20%/paying 3% VAT scam. Squeezing the publishers, remote wiping books from Kindles. The zombie Amazon storefronts.

Censorship resistance attacks and counterattacks - Bram Cohen's Journal
http://bramcohen.livejournal.com/73933.html
Tue, Sep. 14th, 2010, 10:55 am. Censorship resistance attacks and counterattacks. Related to the recent Haystack hubbub, here's a basic overview of censorship resistance tools, of which Haystack was an example (unfortunately a fairly broken one). The usage pattern for censorship resistance tools goes something like this:. System sends information about proxies to users. Users use proxies to browse the web freely. Firewall operator finds out IPs of proxies and blocks them by IP. Go back to step 1. Use no ...

A New IT World: October 2005

A New IT World. The world of enterprise IT is changing - from server to desktop and everywhere in between. You've heard the buzzwords: service architectures, loosely coupled applications, virtualisation, serialisation, network storage, network processing. These are just some of the ways in which the way we do IT are changing - a change that will have as much effect on the way businesses work as the arrival of the desktop PC. Monday, October 31, 2005. Apple Game Centre: real names - Alison
http://bohemiancoast.livejournal.com/159061.html
Apple Game Centre: real names. December 2nd, 2010. As it happens, because I am an antisocial kind of soul, I have no friends on GameCentre. I do have friends on several other gaming networks; I'm BohemianCoast there too. However, it turns out that to operate GameCentre, you cannot use a gaming name; you have to use your real name. So, sorry, I won't friend you on GameCentre. I may still use it, because I'm fond of achievements. Why am I so precious about my real name on gaming networks? I'm really uncomf...
