Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 10, 2010. After presenting my final animation I received a few comments on how I could improve the animation. The comments were:. Consider starting the animation later when the character already has the phone number. (Remove the first few seconds in which the character finds the numbers and spins on his chair) However I feel this is the setup and shows the characters motivation and emotion. Focus less on the chair spin. Maybe play around with the camera.

I think one of my animations strengths is the effectiveness of my characters body language and his postures. You can tell by his key poses exactly what frame of mind he is in. The more subtle animation such as scratching and fidgeting adds to the character and helps to show his emotions without taking the audience’s attention away from the main movement.
