History of the Cello. Andrew is enjoying his fifth season as Assistant Principal Cello in the Alabama Symphony. As of the summer of 2010, Andrew is the Principal Cellist of the Des Moines Metro Opera. After receiving his Masters at Rice, studying with Lynn Harrell, Andrew played one season with the Louisiana Philharmonic. Since November 1, 2008, he has been performing and teaching cello in the Homewood area and also teaches Suzuki method at STEP Birmingham. Andrew has small ensembles available.
