The studio journal of Dr. Andrew Eason, a book artist and libraries research consultant. Were switching back to our intitial scale at the beginning of the book, with the stream of information being seemingly drawn out of the night towards the listener. I now cringe at the pun here the light programme - but you know what I meant. 26 Aug 2011 10:42:00. The comments to this entry are closed. At this level, there's enough quiet for the information to once again be perceptible. On Just the thing for Tiny.

The studio journal of Dr. Andrew Eason, a book artist and libraries research consultant. Approaching the lit window. I based this on my window when I was living at Upton Road in Bristol, and a radio that I subsequently gave away to someone who needed one. (its represented by that dim shape to the bottom right of the window frame). I never could get the bugger reliably tuned in, so I hope they had better luck than I. 28 Aug 2011 10:42:00. The studio journal of Dr. Andrew Eason, a book artist and libraries research consultant. The extreme close up effect over the preceding pages has brought us up to the level where the indentity of the image breaks down, and there are only materials to see reather than shapes. Weaving through the waves of the electromagnetic stream seemed like an apt description of the listeners search for meaning over the airwaves, or anyones struggle to make sense of the visible world. 23 Aug 2011 10:41:00.

I'm particularly fond of the fact that this is taking place as part of a larger nationwide event where people can celebrate a lot of different facets of books. )I think the influence of Alistair McLeary's Book History approach might be informing the multifaceted approach.). Whooooah, Gaikokujin desu, Hoteki na gaikokujin desu, Igirisujin ni Nihon desu. Friday, May 27, 2005. O-niku suki suki, O-niku suki suki.YEAH! Music I love it, you love it, we all love it. The Japanese of course take things a step further. Their desire for music or noise or stimulus of some kind appears to be more of a pathological need if the busy areas are anything to go by. Every time you step off a train you are greeted by a fanfare of happy jingly WELCOME! J-Pop is actually pretty nightmarish. T...

Whooooah, Gaikokujin desu, Hoteki na gaikokujin desu, Igirisujin ni Nihon desu. Thursday, August 25, 2005. What I did on my summer holidays - Tokyo and around part 2. So then we went to Asakusa which has a lovely big red temple called Sensoji. No pictures yet as I`m saving those for the entry on Sanja Matsuri.watch this space. Once you`ve overcome that obstacle, there`s "all manner of things" to keep the discerning tourist occupied. Like a replica of the Statue of Liberty, for some reason. I have no expl...

Whooooah, Gaikokujin desu, Hoteki na gaikokujin desu, Igirisujin ni Nihon desu. Friday, July 29, 2005. Since discovering an image hoster, it has occured to me that I`ve spent most of this blog issuing pseudo-anthropological edicts from a shaky tower of ivory in the style of the bastard spawn of Bill Bryson, Bertie Wooster and sundry pulp fantasy writers. I`m going to stop this (occasionally) and instead post some pictures, and what better place to start than Harajuku? Types, but no real weirdos. As I...

Series of books on the portfolio pages concern an incident near Bath where a gamekeeper was shot by a poacher in the early years of the twentieth century. The books Twelve O'Clock Wood. Use images to explore notions of property, food and folk customs, and the epistemology that informs both the evidence of ownership, and the proofs offered thereby to prosecute theft, or, as is the case here, murder.
