I admit to wondering how all this came to be and also to asking God for help more than occasionally. I also concede that I was baptized, got married in a church, had all of my kids baptized and that I know a few prayers and how to cross myself. But most of that is just hedging. To me, the big A conveys undue respect coming from a follower of Christ.
