David & Sarah online: July 2007

http://davidmumford.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html

David and Sarah online. Irregular updates of what's going on. Monday 9 July 2007. Now it's 11, Tiger! At last we got to see a serious 5 set final at Wimbledon - a bit more dramatic than the straight sets victory Federer achieved over Roddick two years ago. Great match, and amazing for Federer to equal Bjorn Borg's record of 5 Wimbledon's in a row under his nose! But I was hoping Nadal would win. I was amused to see the following ad. Played on BBC Wimbledon coverage yesterday. Posted by David and Sarah.

http://davidmumford.blogspot.com/2007/07/happy-birthday-sarah.html

David and Sarah online. Irregular updates of what's going on. Friday 6 July 2007. Happy Birthday, Sarah! Yesterday was Sarah's birthday, so in the evening we went out to a great restaurant n Blackrock called Dali's to celebrate. The sweet sultana, coconut and ginger crumble was the best dessert I've had in a long time. Didn't she look fantastic? Posted by David and Sarah. Hot schtuff Sarah I love the dress :-) Is that the one from Harvey Nichols that you were talking about last week? 6 July 2007 at 12:37.

David and Sarah online. Irregular updates of what's going on. Saturday 18 August 2007. Camping in the West of Ireland. And he said that notice was just to "keep the rowdies out". He clearly decided that we didn't fit into that category, and agreed to let us set up our tents at the edge of the campsite, overlooking Dog's Bay. What a fantastic location! We got the tents up before the rain started, and spent the evening hiding inside, chatting and drinking wine! A few shots of the campsite and Dog's Bay.

David and Sarah online. Irregular updates of what's going on. Thursday 28 June 2007. As for Irish politics and that awful Flynn woman ( http:/ www.independent.ie/national-news/bev-says-she-has-nothing-to-be-sorry-about-772999.html. I am left speechless. I know, that in itself is worthy an entry in the blog! It reminds me of the day 2 years ago when Sarah and I were fortunate enough to win tickets to the Men's Final in the public draw. We saw Federer work his magic against Roddick, which was fantastic.

http://davidmumford.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

David and Sarah online. Irregular updates of what's going on. Sunday 7 October 2007. Rugby World Cup Quarters. As for England, a stupendous result to "go the distance" as even if they lose to France, they will play in the third place play-off. South Africa are through against Fiji, but the remaining northern team, Scotland, have still to play their match against Argentina. After thinking there would be no northern team in the semis, there could be three? Posted by David and Sarah. View my complete profile.

She thoroughly enjoyed having us all there! On the Saturday night, the middle lot of the three generations cooked a meal to celebrate us 3 mums! On Mother's Day itself, my beautiful little boy (helped, methinks, by his gorgeous dad! Got me a lovely card, a single red rose and a sweet little teddy with tufty hair just like Nathaniel's own!

The photo blog for aim-photography.com. Adventures in digital photography. These photos were taken for assignments (landscape and architecture) in a digital photography course I took summer before last. These first few were taken in a hazelnut orchard belonging to a family friend. In the first one, I love the texture of the bark on the trees. In this photo, I enjoyed the unusual perspective and how the dry dirt looked. The next two were taken at Council Crest Park. Charly (or Chuck, or Chuckles) is a pom...

Just realised how long it’s been since I wrote anything new here, so I’ll give a brief rundown of what we’ve been up to since we left Busua a month ago. more photos to follow soon. The language in Kpando and the while of the Volta region is Ewe which is very different to Fante and it took us a while to get used to the different ways of greeting people, although the funny clicking handshake we’d learned in Busua was still used.
