Fewer graduates have any significant source of income. What I have not written about so far is what graduates are paid if they have a full-time job. What the latest graduate employment outcomes data. Which are still going up.

In a past life I wrote a reasonable amount about campaign finance law, particularly as it applied to third parties. Third parties need to disclose their spending on various political activities. As with donations generally. 2014-15 was a low-spending year. As seen in the chart below. The main item of interest in recent years is how GetUp. Posted by Andrew Norton.

Still blogging, just not here. August 24th, 2011 by Andrew Norton. My new blog is here. August 14th, 2011 by Andrew Norton. I start my new job at the Grattan Institute. Tomorrow, and one thing that will change as a result is my blogging. The change won’t be too big, but as one of Grattan’s public faces I need to make sure that my blogging doesn’t detract from Grattan’s focus on areas where ‘fact-based analysis’ can contribute to public debate. The rise and partial fall of full-fee students. Though it req...

Of 100,000 science, technology, engineering and maths graduates suggests that they have learned little from their previous mistakes in this area. Following a 2007 election promise, to boost science and maths they cut student contributions and introduced a HECS-HELP benefit. Despite student contributions being put back up again.
