Anderson Avenue: January 2006
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Monday, January 09, 2006. During the summer between my freshman and sophomore years of college, I did an internship down in Brownsville, TX. Without going into details, it will suffic to say that I made some poor decisions, and many poor decisions were made around me. After that summer of seeing my arrogance and a church with no purpose to exist, things became rather dark for me. Posted by Nathan Anderson @ 12:03 AM. Friday, January 06, 2006. As with many companies with this set-u...

Anderson Avenue: May 2005
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Tuesday, May 24, 2005. A few days not too busy. So, it's been a while since I've last posted, or blogged, if you will. There really hasn't been enough in one day to write about. I've spent most of my time sleeping in here in Paducah, or being with family or church family. Fundraising. I don't like asking for people's help, much less their money! I guess that's part of my family and pride coming out in me. Posted by Nathan Anderson @ 10:15 PM. Monday, May 09, 2005. I then went back...

Anderson Avenue: January 2007
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Wednesday, January 24, 2007. So, we are almost a month past 2006, and I've had some time to reflect on the happenings of the Sports World. Here are just a few observations:. 1 The Regular Season did not matter in 2006. Fox Sports Radio reports that NBA champs Miami Heat were 2-14 against Division winners during the regular season. But they beat the Dallas Mavericks in six games in the NBA Finals (thanks refs! Rushing yards a game. In the NFC championship game! Not much, other than...

This is the road taken. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Jody Stevens, valet/songwriter. I was actually pretty surprised by the strong lyrical content of the song. I Didn't Hear You. I told Jody a day or two after I heard this song on his myspace, "Man, I wish I would have written that! As you may know, I am considered somewhat of a hopeless romantic, so this song fit my style pretty well, even if it is country sounding. To check out Jody's Soundclick site to listen to this song and others, click here:. I don't kn...

Anderson Avenue: September 2005
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Another day, Scripture usage, and Love. So, okay, maybe I went a little heavy on the whole song lyric thing! But they all spoke to me when I was reading them. Posted by Nathan Anderson @ 9:45 PM. Old School Lyrics by the greatest group ever:. How do I say goodbye. To what we had. The good times that made us laugh. I thought we'd get to see forever. But forever's gone away. It's so hard to say goodbye. I don't know where this road. Is going to lead.

Anderson Avenue: June 2007
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Saturday, June 02, 2007. Those are the words that I need to know. But I’m not sure that I am that strong. My legs feel so weary. I’m just not there yet. I didn’t know that I was going. Not sure I’m given time to react. So hard to understand. Not sure I can absorb. A simple mind,. Not sure I have ears to hear. But I don’t want to go anywhere. But I thought I was letting go. So hard to understand. Not sure I can absorb. A simple mind,. I’m not even sure what I hear. What do I see?

Anderson Avenue: November 2006
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Thursday, November 02, 2006. Babies, Unclehood, Sports, Passion. So, my niece, Sydney Kate Hughes, was born two weeks ago today (Friday). I was able to ride/drive down with my parents from our neck of the woods down to Arlington Memorial Hospital for the birth of Miss Sydney (I almost said "to witness" but that definitely was NOT happening! First of all, it's amazing that God makes us as small as Sydney ( 19 1/4 inches, 7 lbs 2 oz.), and then we are able to grow SO BIG! But holdin...

Anderson Avenue: October 2005
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Monday, October 31, 2005. Well, I'm not a big party person usually. I just make appearances, but usually don't stay long at parties anymore. Well, starting this past Thursday, that has changed. Haha), so I got to stay for a while. I did get to take home some Dr. Pepper and candy for helping clean up. Around 9:30, we went to campus because school was showing Batman Begins for free! Posted by Nathan Anderson @ 7:47 PM. Friday, October 21, 2005. Old friends still current. They say fa...

Anderson Avenue: December 2005
http://andersonavenue.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
This is the road taken. Tuesday, December 20, 2005. Weirdest thing I've ever seen. First I see my car, on the street straight in front of me. And right behind it, I see a late 80's Chevy truck.I mean, RIGHT behind it! Okay, so I might have been screaming. So, maybe it was more like, "WHAT THE F* * ARE YOU DOING? Dispatch: 911, what's your emergency? Dispatch: So you're on Washington? Me: *coughing* Yes, 1025 Washington Blvd. Dispatch: And what kind of car? Me: Well, north, but. Me: Okay, I'll be here.
