let love be our legacy: Leadership & a Kidney Donation
http://letlovebeourlegacy.blogspot.com/2014/04/leadership-kidney-donation.html
Let love be our legacy. Sunday, April 6. Leadership and a Kidney Donation. At church in Greeneville a couple of Sundays ago, a woman stood up, clearly emotional, and explained that her husband, a 40ish year old dad and staple of the community, has needed a kidney transplant for quite some time. Several routes had been explored, a brother willing but unable to donate, much hope found with disappointment right on its heels time and time again. Can you imagine? She told us that he was torn about even tellin...

In Case They Ever Wonder: December 2011
http://incasetheyeverwonder.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
In Case They Ever Wonder. In Case They Ever Wonder. Saturday, December 3, 2011. Very Last First Time. I have always loved babies. I don't remember a time when I wasn't playing with dolls dreaming about being a mom. I picked out names from the time I was a preschooler myself. I can honestly say that having children has always been one of the greatest desires of my heart. And even though we've just had our fourth, and I'm certainly waaaay more relaxed (maybe a little too. When she'll roll over, crawl, slee...

In Case They Ever Wonder: Birthday Princess
http://incasetheyeverwonder.blogspot.com/2013/01/birthday-princess.html
In Case They Ever Wonder. In Case They Ever Wonder. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Oh my Lillie Pie! I’ve always prayed that you would be full of hope and to bring hope to others. I can’t count the ways in which the Lord has answered this prayer in you. I could not have imagined a more appropriate place to celebrate your birthday than the happiest place on earth, and this year, we celebrated your third year of life in Cinderella’s Castle right in the middle of the Magic Kingdom! Tales from the Condo. Cole's c...

let love be our legacy: November 2011
http://letlovebeourlegacy.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Let love be our legacy. Monday, November 21. This should be fun. Let's be honest, there is no good time to start a blog. It's always a bit. I tried once. when I spent six weeks doing missions in the Bahamas (yes, it's still considered mission work even if it's in a tropical paradise :). I wanted to remember the stories, the culture, and most of all, the people (and I didn't want to repeat hundreds of stories to so many different people). So, what happened? This is officially effort #2. On to the point:.

let love be our legacy: one or the other...
http://letlovebeourlegacy.blogspot.com/2012/04/one-or-other.html
Let love be our legacy. Friday, April 6. One or the other. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.". Three men at Calvary. Two were criminals. They were answering for wrongdoings. But the third one? Not Him. He was no criminal. The highest authorities had found no fault in Him. Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.". He recognized. His eyes were open. He u...Then,...

Meri Robin's Eyes. a view from Robin's nest! Those who hope in the Lord will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31. let love be our legacy: December 2011
http://letlovebeourlegacy.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Let love be our legacy. Monday, December 5. All because of a video. Because of a video. There I was, 100% committed to finishin' my 10-pager (maybe not quite 100%), when my dear, sweet, not-good-at-helping-me-focus roommate told me to check it out. Gladly opening myself to another distraction, I did just that. And I was inspired. Not in the life-altering, I-want-to-go-knock-on-every-neighbor's-door kind of way. but in a soft, gentle way that happens when I am. Undeniably touched by Truth. Watermark templ...
