My experiences in software engineering. Laquo; So this is it…. OK, it wasn’t really a Tuesday, but finding myself with time on my hands, I decided to learn something new. Most applications these days seem to be web services, usually based on REST so I decided to find a simple way to produce such a web service with minimum effort. After a trawl of Google, I concluded that Ruby on Rails. Which uses an MVC. Architecture with a REST pattern and is written with the Ruby. So a digression seemed essential.
