This bronze sculpture of the Cumean Sibyl is installed as a fountain at The American School in Switzerland. The sibyl is seated, dispensing water from a jar, and surrounded by two genius figures. One genius supports a book, symbolizing knowledge, and the other presents a lamp, to indicate wisdom. Bronze, 18 inches.

This plaster relief sculpture is twelve feet wide and three and a half feet tall. It represents the moment from St. Luk's Gospel when Mary and Joseph discover Christ in the Temple conversing with Temple elders. Andrew Wilson Smith is a freelance sculptor and stone carver. Working in a variety of media including cast bronze, plaster, and stone, Mr. Smith has completed a number of sculpture commissions in both sacred and secular settings. Smith served several apprenticeships, and attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, as well as the Florence Academy of Art. During this time, Smith honed his technical skills and developed a historical perspective on art and aesthetics that continues to guide his work.
