Andrew Young - CF Chairman Campaign
http://andrewyoungcampaign.blogspot.com/2006/09/welcome-to-readers-of-ever-popular.html
Thursday, September 14, 2006. Welcome to readers of the ever popular Recess Monkey. Whilst recording an interview with he and Guido for CF Radio, it became apparent that the Monkey has been well fed. I left my reply on his site for your reference. This year has been tough in places, but from all the problems we have started projects that can continue till next year - an e-library. And a revamped CF.com website. Guys - it's been nice working with you. Posted by Andrew Young at 8:01 AM.

Andrew Young Campaign - Manifesto: August 2006
http://andrewyoungcampaign-manifesto.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 03, 2006. The Change Agenda: Campaigning. So far I've talked about the basics, the simple reforms to get this organisation working better, but CF is one element of a political party and every candidate is going to have to set out in some detail how they would help win campaigns for the party. Our goal as an organisation must be the next general election and the local elections next year are the warm up for this. For one academic year, I plan to run three campaigns;. BUT more importantly ...

Andrew Young Campaign - CF Campaigns: Conference Campaign: 8 Days to go
http://andrewyoungcampaign-campaigns.blogspot.com/2006/08/conference-campaign-8-days-to-go.html
Tuesday, August 01, 2006. Conference Campaign: 8 Days to go. Students aren't a bad bunch of people. True, they can get away with working a three hour week and one or two can go through the 'questionable personal hygiene' phase, but look at the facts. Our most active members in CF are students, and of those, more describe themselves as a 'committed activist' than for our graduate members. (Precise figures to follow). Cherry picking attendees, inviting non-members and encouraging a working-life only. I am ...

Andrew Young Campaign - CF Campaigns: Conference Campaign: 7 Days to go
http://andrewyoungcampaign-campaigns.blogspot.com/2006/08/conference-campaign-7-days-to-go.html
Wednesday, August 02, 2006. Conference Campaign: 7 Days to go. A student rang RE the conference yesterday and thanks to one post on this blog no-one was able to say no. No excuses, no 'You should've gone to Manchester' - just a quiet backing down and acceptance of the money. Let's be honest - any member who is willing to fork out 140 should be allowed to go. After all this is our best funded event and it doesn't benefit the organisation to start playing silly beggars with the student ban.

Andrew Young Campaign - CF Campaigns: Conference Campaign: 4 Days to Go
http://andrewyoungcampaign-campaigns.blogspot.com/2006/08/conference-campaign-4-days-to-go.html
Wednesday, August 02, 2006. Conference Campaign: 4 Days to Go. No word from Caroline, but Andy Strang left this on Conservatives inTouch (got an account there today). QUOTE (AndyStrang @ Jul 25 2006, 02:30 PM). 16 year olds and 29 year olds don't mix. (rest of the comment deleted for being weird). Beg to differ, price a training conference at 140. More student members have put themselves forward to attend the CF Conference -well done guys! Posted by Andrew Young at 5:52 AM. London, United Kingdom.

Andrew Young Campaign - Manifesto: The Change Agenda: Read my lips -"No events"
http://andrewyoungcampaign-manifesto.blogspot.com/2006/08/change-agenda-read-my-lips-no-events.html
Wednesday, August 02, 2006. The Change Agenda: Read my lips -"No events". The NME elected in September will consist of six members and one chairman. To run a national organisation, a ridiculously small number. If the NME were to take full advantage of all its co-options it could swell to a mighty nine. People plus the chairman - or, put another way, the same membership as the CF in Salford Uni when I was there. Hence the emergence of the London clique. CF needs more events. For National events, such as t...

Andrew Young - CF Chairman Campaign: Coming soon...
http://andrewyoungcampaign.blogspot.com/2006/09/coming-soon_13.html
Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Posted by Andrew Young at 2:33 AM. London, United Kingdom. I am one of the few Northern Irish members of CF in the country, having joined at University in Salford, Greater Manchester. I now live in London, working for the party in the London Assembly. I am an activist, who believes that CF’s greatest contribution to the party would be to get stuck in with the campaigning. I also work as editor for the CF website, CF TV and CF Net. Andrew Young - CF Chairman Campaign: The Change Agenda: Digging In
http://andrewyoungcampaign.blogspot.com/2006/09/change-agenda-digging-in.html
Tuesday, September 05, 2006. The Change Agenda: Digging In. What are the problems of CF? Why do we seem to change only very slowly? Why can we not make more rapid gains as a youth organisation? A CF member was chatting to me after the Manchester hustings and he blamed the CF elections. 'If only we didn't have elections every year we wouldn't lose so many talented people'. The trick will be to engage the senior party, CF shouldn't act as a seperate organisation. Rather, the senior party needs to be pr...
