Nov 17th dinner: Egg&vege don miso soup. Eggs are my good friends when I don’t have too much money for buying meat. Eating only vege cannot fulfill me but eggs can. This egg and vege don is my own version of donburi. (don is an abbreviation of donburi.) Donburi is a Japanese traditional dish. Basically, anything that is put over top of rice is called donburi. Nov 14th dinner: Gyoza mozuku (seaweed) rice. Nov 8th dinner: Pork with sesame sauce vegetable soup rice. Nov 4th lunch: Fried curry rice seaweed.

beloved fish | Maki's Weblog
https://myoshii.wordpress.com/2008/01/27/beloved-fish
Today, I would like to write about a story of two Koi fish I encountered last semester. Last semester, I had to get some sort of red fish for my sculpture project. I figured that baby Koi fish was the most suitable ones, so I bought 2 of them for about 50cents. I was very surprised at how cheap they are. What if I could by baby salmon fish for so cheap and raise it until it gets to eatable size…? Response to “beloved fish”. Feed for this Entry. May 26, 2008 at 5:23 pm. How’s it going? My Story: June 2010 Update

My life as it is.". Saturday, July 10, 2010. Dear Family and Friends,. It has been and continues to be hot and humid! Things have been a whirlwind since I arrived home two weeks ago. It is hard to begin describing my experience of being home. No amount of preparation was sufficient when it came to dealing with the reverse culture shock. I knew that it would be hard but I never expected it to be this hard. I am also not used to having rice for every meal. I miss having fresh vegetables and fruits....On a ...

my 100yrs old elementary school | Maki's Weblog
https://myoshii.wordpress.com/2008/01/03/my-100yrs-old-elementary-school
My 100yrs old elementary school. I visited my elementary school in Kumamoto, Japan. I went there with my friend who had not come to this school before. She was amazed by how old the building was. It is it’s 100th birthday this year. I was also amazed that this school still existed. Everything was the same but as soon as I sat, the chair and desks seemed very tiny. It is amazing how much I grew up. Responses to “my 100yrs old elementary school”. Feed for this Entry. January 7, 2008 at 9:22 pm. You are com...

elaborative | Maki's Weblog
https://myoshii.wordpress.com/2007/12/03/elaborative
I don’t know if you have seen a blue car with fountains and other decorative stuff on it but if you have, doesn’t this car remind you of that car? And at the same time you may realize this car is no less elaborative. The snow makes it look even more dynamic, just like the icing on a already completed cake. Are those stuffed creatures on the front and back bumpers for cushioning? If I were driving a car near by, I would be extra careful not to hit them…. Responses to “elaborative”. Feed for this Entry.
