And then I craft: May 2011

http://andthenicraft.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, 1 May 2011. Got myself this chair set from Hero Arts a little while ago. I like the big old comfy chair, and that chandelier kind of spoke to me as well. I was playing with my markers, coloured the chair and then ended up with this card. A bit more of a manly colour scheme, but boys need cards too don't they. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I eat, I drink, I sleep . and then I craft. Here I will share the latter. Welcome to my blog. View my complete profile. FREE Craft Stamper e-zine.

And then I craft: January 2012

http://andthenicraft.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, 21 January 2012. Hero Arts - definitely one of my fave stamp companies. I am sharing a card today that I made a while ago with their Silly Scape background. The way I coloured the buildings was very much influenced by the way Jennifer McGuire coloured these buildings on a card she made for PaperCrafts magazine (some time last year maybe . I can't remember when, but it was quite a while ago). I loved her bright bold colours, perfect for copics. Embossing folder - Square Lattice. The Copy and Pas...

Tuesday, 19 June 2012. A friend of mine asked if I could make a card for her son who is turning 18 . immediate response was no. Boy cards - too hard! What on earth would I put on an 18 year olds card. After some persuasion I said okay. He is into diving and she wanted some waves with bubbles. I can do that. It is not particularly trendy . if you know what I mean, like graffiti 18 year old trendy, but he is not that kind of kid, so it should go down just fine. Monday, 11 June 2012. Friday, 17 June 2011. So it's been quite a while. My time has been taken up with things far too mundane to even mention, but I will share with you a card I made for this months Craft Stamper designer palette article. I used cool greys and ochre, a combination that is sophisticated and elegant. This card didn't make it into print so I can share it with you. That lovely dotted flower stamp is from HeroArts and it is gorgeous. The script is Tim Holtz and the text from Stampin' Up! Have a good weekend.

majormole: January 2011

http://majormole.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, 29 January 2011. As my brother is off to Australia for six weeks and I will have left for NZ by the time he gets back i thought i had better come and see him.as it will be the autumn before we see each other again. Arrived last night, having spent nearly 3 hours on the road for a journey that usually takes between 1 and 2 hours.if i didn't have to go over the dartford tunnel it would have been quicker.that is my excuse. Thursday, 20 January 2011. Made a mistake in the last one about Amsterdam.

Auntie Fairy: Happy Birthday Marion

http://auntiefairy.blogspot.com/2010/07/how-many-of-you-save-bit-of-this-and.html

Monday, 5 July 2010. How many of you save a bit of this and a bit of that to use for a card or layout later. I've tons of it. The ribbon used on this card was originally wrapped around a box of soaps that a dear friend bought me. This was my friend Marion's. Birthday card. Unbeknown to her, that the ribbon used was from a gift given with love and it has been re-used on a card sent with love. This card is so so simple. The card used are from Craftwork. Cards, which are reasonably priced for a pack of 50.

Monday, 1 February 2010. Here are two simple cards made again from scraps. The first was born out of a lovely paper that had muted butterflies in its design. Because the scrap I had was so small, I decided. To cut into the pattern exposing. Monday, February 01, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Auntie Fairy: December 2009

http://auntiefairy.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 29 December 2009. I can't believe it is 2 months since I have put anything on this blog. Christmas takes over. My New Years resolution is to free-up space in my calender and so "no" to certain requests, because I just ran out of time in 2009. Another NYR, is to use up as much of the paper and cardstock I buy for a project and stop hording the left-over in another box which will never see the light of day again. So yesterday I did just that. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Auntie Fairy: October 2009

http://auntiefairy.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 28 October 2009. I love cabbage flowers for cards. The lovely Nina from Sugar and Spice introduced these to a class many moons ago now and I use them a lot on birthday cards. These flowers were punches out of three contrasting shades of pink card stack. I used a 1.5 inch and 1 inch scolloped. Circular punch. I then screwed up each circle. The more screwed up the better. A bit of glamour dust on the edge and mounted together using a brad. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Wednesday, 21 October 2009.

Auntie Fairy: August 2009

http://auntiefairy.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, 30 August 2009. Anyway, the family have been busy creating. Two baby girls and a baby boy. Amber and Eddy and just last Wednesday little Poppy burst into our lives. So cards where needed. This was for Amber. I love the Cricut. Embossing is so easy with this little machine and soooooo many lovely embossing plates. Marion has the machines in Sugar and Spice. At very competitive prices. Embossing makes such lovely touchy feely cards. Aren't these the cutes embossing plates? Sunday, August 30, 2009.

Auntie Fairy: November 2009

http://auntiefairy.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, 8 November 2009. Have some BIG boy punches in stock.and I bought one. Its lovely. I have the woodware scalloped circle. So, going on from the birthday card with the cabbage flower, I made some big flowers and popped them into the shop for the girls to pin on their aprons. These are so easy. I used a low grade paper as it screws up better. I punched 4 scalloped circles. Then screwed each piece into a tight ball. Open out each piece. Stick the four pieces together. But a fancy button looks good to.

Sunday, 25 November 2012. I can't believe its nearly a year since I wrote any thing here. So much has append in this time, too much to write down here and bore people with. My Pal is in New Zealand spending quality time with her family. Its only been three weeks but it seems a lot longer than that. And I miss her. She better come back. majormole: August 2009

http://majormole.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Friday, 28 August 2009. It was my grandson's birthday last Saturday and he lives in New Zealand. I thought I would send him something different, hopefully something that would slightly confuse him, he would think ". How did nanna do that"? So having been inspired by Marion from Sugar and Spice I decided to make a tinned surprise. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mickey Clock - Relogio do Mickey. Adventure for NZ residency. 100 Llewellyn Square – 1.1. Friday, Dec 3 2010. We should go out for ice cream and to the spa, after our neighbors leave. Sora said to Sameera as the girls blankly watched the television. Don’t you think it’s too cold for ice cream? And the Spa has that huge swimming pool it’s only the beginning of April. The Spring season just got started! Sameera said, brushing off Sora’s idea. And then I do the dishes

Sunday, February 9, 2014. Pita Bread for #ElleaPalooza. This is by far one of the toughest posts I’ve had to write. Just trying to put my thoughts coherently into words is not an easy task. I know I’m not the only one trying very hard this weekend to write about what Elle (Lee Ann) of Elle’s New England Kitchen. I loved reading her blog posts, she really had a way with words, and one post that stuck with me was “ It’s not a P.I.T.A. to make pita bread! The pita bread recipe is from Brown Eyed Baker.
