You suddenly realise that this is it; this baby is yours and no-one is going to take her away to let you get a good night's sleep - these few snatched hours here and there, they're it, for the time being at least. You knew it before, of course, and everyone told you, but suddenly you really realise it. By 10 weeks, you're really searching for that holy grail of sleep: the baby who sleeps through. I am amazed and delighted that there really was a baby growing inside me! Our baby boy arrived on the 27th December 2012 weighing in at 2.6kg or 5lb 11z. A perfect end to 2012 and of course our journey. We are in awe at how perfect he is and of course now he’s here he was worth the wait and the all the tears x. And tagged "ivf success".
