What I didn’t expect was that we were able to feed anyone who was nearby with the food we had for lunch each day. We often had long waiting lines to see our doctors/nurses after lunch, so we would feed those waiting, sometimes close to 100 people, with whatever food we had. We always had enough! Just another WordPress.com weblog. There is only one thing I can think of right now! Charlotte’s school, MICS, loves parent volunteers (what school doesn’t? To sign up as a volunteer you have to be fingerprinted. That is very smart of them, of course, but they make the volunteers pay the $50 fee to have it done! I would love to be a volunteer at her school – is there anyone who would like to contribute toward the $50 for my fingerprinting? We would love to! Has this already happened? On September 7, 2010.

Thursday, November 24, 2011. Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow! We had our first official snow fall yesterday and it did not disappoint! I think by the end of the day we had over 30cm! We canceled Jacob's speech therapy and took full advantage of a good old fashioned snow day:). We headed over to Carolyn and Geoff's (man it's great having family close enough to walk to! And built some snowmen. Jacob was more interested in knocking his down. boys ;). A all bundled up to play in the snow!

Friday, April 30, 2010. It's been ages since I posted last! In the last 10 days we:. Have packed our 1/2 our house up to send with the movers, sold about 1/3 of it and took the rest of it on a plane. Cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Reintroduced Jacob to all his grandparents and some of his aunts and uncles. Painted, tore up carpet. Flew across the country. Crossed 4 times zones.
