Our eyes feast on gorgeous rolling hills, dotted with farm houses, a few trees, but mostly pasture lands as we leave Missoula at 35 degrees cold. To head toward Sheridan WY. I ask Herb, "With the Summer cruising behind us, what are you most looking forward to as we go south? He replies, "Our next trip back to the PNW! Sunday, May 31, 2015. Thumbs up and let the fun begin! We wake at Friday Harbor to socked in fog, which slowly clears by 10:30A. Winds behave at less than 10 knots with a light chop. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Wings over Houston, and Pearl Harbor - 11/1/2014. After leaving the PNW about a month ago we take the long way back to the Rio Grande Valley, now spending a few days at Advanced RV Park in Pearland TX just south of Houston. Our son-in-law Neel (Patrice's husband) from Boston brings his drone to fly in the competition held in conjunction with Wings Over Houston Air Show at Ellington Field. It is windy, so we have jackets; sunny, so we have hats; a long day, so we have chairs.

After passing through the "Land Cut", we saw that we would not make it into Island Moorings until just after sundown. Not wanting to travel the busy ship channel after dark, we kicked it up a notch to about 16 knots making our arrival time just after 5 pm. Nancy had drinks and supper ready for us when we arrived. Making a perfect end to a long day.
