Becca: Lyd, do you think we are going to have a boy or a girl? B: Lyd, do you think it will be a girl or a boy? B: Do you want to have a little sister or brother? B: Is it going to be a brother or a sister? If you didn't figure out Lydia is really into repeating the last thing we say at this point! Now, the preparation begins: new room assignments?

FloodZone: On the Way Home
http://floodzone738.blogspot.com/2015/07/on-way-home.html
The area of fertile ground left in the wake of a flood. Saturday, July 18, 2015. On the Way Home. Are they Republicans or Democrats? Are they black, white, or other? Are they rich or poor? Are they from another Christian denomination or do they have another religious belief system entirely? Are they too young or too old? Too many times I know I can say I have judged someone before I have even gotten to know them and hear their story. Shame on me! God might use others to teach us a thing or two. ;)! A pic...

FloodZone: Smudging of the New Building Addition
http://floodzone738.blogspot.com/2015/07/smudging-of-new-building-addition.html
The area of fertile ground left in the wake of a flood. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Smudging of the New Building Addition. In the course of this blog I hope to show the progression of the building addition at the Bridger church. We arrived at the beginning of the week with a platform and some very basic guidelines for the new structure. Eventually, as we got our act together so did the building begin taking shape. We got our "test" wall up and were easy to begin getting to the serious work. Toni was sharing...

The area of fertile ground left in the wake of a flood. Thursday, July 16, 2015. A New Part of South Dakota for Me. Chip and I had cut the studs to length for the second wall while we were waiting for the guys to wake up. So, while they were all up the hill I framed up the second wall. Marvin was concerned that I would not be in any pictures so he came out to catch me working! Chip and I went to Pierre this afternoon to get a few lawn mower parts. It seems that the ministry of the lawnmower is never ...

FloodZone: May 2015
http://floodzone738.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
The area of fertile ground left in the wake of a flood. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Working on a porch, day 2. In the meantime we were able to come back to the lodge and work on the door to the shed. I use "we" loosely. We made efforts to repair the door and then Sean showed up. My favorite comment of the day was when Sean told Page "Get out of the way, just this one time." So we watched as he made quick work of the door. Tonight the team was treated to supper from Nancy Gibson. She is lady that lives dow...
