For Sale and Wanted. Since the society was first formed in 2008 we have enjoyed a wide range of talks both from visiting speakers and club members. As well as the talks detailed below we have also held inter society quizes at Christmas, society trips as well as viewing evenings at Bromsgrove Rugby Club. The schedule listed below refers to our main meeting each month ( 3rd Monday ), but may include the odd 'lite' night ( 1st Monday ) where appropriate. For Sale and Wanted. Each year the society try to attend local events in order to publicise ourselves and astronomy in general. The society club visit for 2013 was to the Leicester National Space Centre. A superb club turn out and lots of fun for members, family and friends. BAS set up in Bromsgrove high street farmers market to promote the Dark Skies initiative and educate the puplic regarding issues that arise from light pollution.
