Somewhere in Middle America. Thursday, February 5. The Steelers won the Superbowl; I couldn't be happier. The game was fantastic, and really great in high-def, with friends and a lot of food. I didn't bother watching or caring about the commercials this year since well, that was the time for a break in the action and an oporchanceity to get more food stuffed in my piehole. In other news, I did my taxes! Only took a few minutes thanks to The TurboTax. I love how there is no paper involved at all.

Somewhere in Middle America. Monday, January 5. Happy New Year or whatever. Let's just get this done in bullet points. Pitt football ended the season with a 3-0 loss. Despite watching this on the new tv in high definition, it sucked. The new tv is awesome, as were all of the football games that I watched over the holidays. Some days it seemed like there were like, 3 or more games on. Oh wait, there were. Maria and Asim are doing well. I had a really good time playing with Asim during the days off....

Somewhere in Middle America. Monday, November 17. Oh, home projects. Because I need to prove to myself that I can not only start projects but finish them in a non-half-assed manner. The hood installation seemed simple enough. Cut hole in wall, run duct, hang hood. Which is like, a third the cost of the hood. I love my wife. Somewhere in Middle America. Friday, October 24. Well, it's right at 30 weeks until I'm 30. So, a goal. Lose 30 lbs. It's been raining here all week. All freakin' week. Not all day, but it's basically gloomy and whatnot. My flight is this afternoon to Louisville. Of course I'm excited about that. The economy is tanking, but I managed a slight raise, so I'm keeping up with inflation and the higher cost of our healthcare plan. Tuesday, October 21. A lovely day for a bike ride. Somewhere in Middle America. Thursday, October 9. Workbench for me, workbench for you. Spent several hours last night at Nick's putting together a more fancy (than mine) workbench. After we got through 80% of assembly, we realized it was too wide, so we had to take it all apart, cut some pieces and reassemble.
