Sean and Sascha's Adventures: February 2010
http://sascharuns.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sean and Sascha's Adventures. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Hagg Lake 25 km. After running the Hagg Lake. I carpooled to Hagg with Bend fast-guys Andy Martin. And fellow Montrailian Max King. But I was happy to be sportin' my pink Orcas Island 50k. Vest for the out and back in support of 25k'er Mandy Giblin. That's me navigating a creek crossing that eliminated a road section from previous years - a very cool improvement! Upon seeing me, Aaron noticably picked up his pace, which was great as it gave me s...

http://runbend.blogspot.com/2010/05/american-10k-record-goes-down.html
Sunday, May 2, 2010. American 10k Record goes down. I know this video has been circulating, but if you haven't watched it, I suggest you sit back, grab a cup of coffe and enjoy. It takes less than 27 minutes. If you are short on time, fast forward to the last mile. M 10k F01 (* AR 26:59, 2010 Payton Jordan) 10k 2010 Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on Flotrack. RunBend: August 2009
http://runbend.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 17, 2009. Soda Creek/ Green Lakes Assault. If you ever want to feel slow and out of shape, I have the perfect outing for you. Invite Max King and Andy Martin along for a tempo run on the Soda Creek Trail/ Green Lakes loop. This was actually Andy's idea, and I think I was brought along for one of three reasons: 1) Give them someone to drop, 2) Make certain I know I only won Haulin. A because they didn't enter, or 3) Cougar bait. The three of us headed out at 7AM, chauffeured. CLR 2009 is in...

RunBend: October 2010
http://runbend.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 3, 2010. What happened to RunBend? First off, my apologies to the 13 "followers" of this blog who have courageously posted their profiles on this site. I had no intention of depriving you from blog posts for the past four months. Quite simply, my life has created few events interesting enough to post. The Dirty Second Half however has provided material to at least bring a pulse back to this seemingly lifeless blog. 8 190s. The shoes felt light, responsive and had excellent traction...

RunBend: April 2010
http://runbend.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 19, 2010. Hall, Keflezighi, Deems, Webster. As sweet as Boston was, it was nothing compared to the Light of Hope 5k. While I couldn't get the live feed on my computer, I did check the results to see who took home top honors. While there was no surprise with Mike Olsen taking first overall, admittedly there was, well, shock seeing Ron Deems and Dave Webster as second and third overall. Looks like it was a battle! Way to go old guy masters! There's a new rivalry in town. Links to this post.

Thursday, February 25, 2010. Links to this post. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. National Cross Country Meet and PRP. It was also fun watching Max King run the race. He ran an incredible time, averaging a 4:48 pace, but said his legs felt heavy and finished in 11th place, which was lower than he hoped. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). RunBend: October 2009
http://runbend.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 12, 2009. Man, these blogs are hard to keep up on. Where does the time go? Can't believe it's already been 2 1/2 weeks since Twin Cities. Guess it has given me adequate time to reflect on the race. In looking back, I'm really pleased with my training and quite happy with my race. My body hung on just long enough to accomplish the goal I set last year following the CIM (sub 2:33). It's funny looking back to that post. Links to this post. Sunday, October 4, 2009. Max King 47:58 6th overall.

RunBend: May 2010
http://runbend.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. Sharman and Semick Blitz South Africa. I calculated his pace to be around a 6:28/mi. I didn't see many non-African names ahead of him. He beat the likes of Michael Wardian (6:02:36) and both he and Kami crushed Josh Cox (6:51:29), who must have had an off day. I'm very impressed with both runners. Awesome run! Links to this post. Saturday, May 15, 2010. All Time Dirty Halfers. 1 Andy Martin 1:13:37 (07). 2 Max King 1:14:22 (06). 3 Dylan Mason 1:15:00 (06). 4 Dylan Mason 1:15:49 (05).

RunBend: January 2010
http://runbend.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 22, 2010. If it's good enough for Brandon. I came across this article today on the Oregonlive. Therapy. Funny how they call it "cutting-edge." I think it is more accurately described as "not very well studied." Anyhow, interesting how they are using it among professional athletes, especially those who haven't been injured all that long. Maybe I'll wait and see how Brandon responds to therapy before going through it myself. Links to this post. Monday, January 18, 2010. I have set some pret...
