Tai Chi form list. Slow movements reflecting the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Long Form will be taught based on the Dong (Tung) Family lineage. Slow and soft form. Movement increases physical balance, cardiovascular health, and focus. The low-impact exercise of Tai Chi not only strengthens core musculature, it paves the way for a deeper balance of mind, body and spirit. Tai Chi form list. The following video clip shows a few movements taken from the Second Section of the Long Form. Click in the bottom right-hand corner of the video image to expand it out to full screen size. This video was filmed in 2013 with challenging conditions at 6,000 feet above sea level in Washington's central cascades. It shows Andy taking his Tai Chi form to a snowy mountain top. The Second section of the slowset is performed at a continuous pace.

Tiger Mountain Tai Chi Kung is one of the classic static-stance taiji standing routines that can be really challenging. I worked with Master Alex to demonstrate applications and wrote and the article for Inside Kung Fu on the Dong Family fast set.

In 2008, after 15 years of training and class instruction, Master Alex acknowledged Andy with this certificate, naming him a Qualified Instructor in his International Taijiquan Association.Conditions of the certification include commitment to annual training events and forms proficiency.
