It starts with a salesman named Andy getting ready for a big sale at Andy's Auto Center. Everything looks good until the crowds go instead to the Subway sandwich sale across the street. Nice. Sales at Leikin Volvo have not been too bad the last two weeks. I've sold two cars and split two other sales with another salesman. I hope that the trend continues. I also love how the signs for different sales are huge pieces of rolled up paper that are written on with Crayola markers. Nothing makes me feel like I am getting a bargain more than producing signs in the cheapest manner possible. It is a joy and a pleasure walking up to pay for 38 trash bags, an air freshener, Nutter Butters and a book on New Orleans at such a fine chain store. Monday, October 22, 2012.

A few thoughts about cars. Parting is such sweet sorrow. May 13, 2015. The 1984 AM General DJ-5M (Postal Jeep) was a part of our family for about six months. In that time, we maintained it, painted it, drove it, picked up various team members from basketball practice, and most recently listed it on Craigslist.
